We do a little retardmaxxing, it's called we do a little retardmaxxing.

My cardio retardmaxxing routine is run 3-4 miles a few days a week, walk on the non-running days when possible, and a Saturday tempo run.

Simple to follow. Gets the job done. I've gotten results (especially in endurance). Enjoyable routine, too.

I always try to walk after every meal and it helps. Some movement is better than nothing.

Not unless it gets you into Zone 2, and I think most overweight people have adapted to their weight such that just walking around isn't going to do that.

Rucking is to get you into Zone 2.
